Description
Another being related to, but not exclusive to, D&D. I went for something cutesy, though I'm sure he could still deliver a heavy mushroom punch like the mushroom peeps of Dark Souls 1 if he wanted.

I like this fella.
He does look cute! I like his eyes, how they have a kind of childlike look to them as he stares off, looking around with a calm sense of wonder that leaves him kinda just standing there, stuck in a pose because he's lost to everything else except what he's focused looking at.
I am tempted to characterize his pose as "dumpy," mostly because I like to describe cute things with that word and mean it in a positive way. lol His standing pose, with his...tummy, I guess, jutting out a bit and that kinda entranced expression his eyes and the pose communicate...it makes me smile every time I look at it.
But yes, I completely agree with how you put it, that he's cutesy but there's a massive strength behind it. He's kinda like characters like...that orange fluffy guy in Bugs Bunny cartoons, where he looks cute and cuddly but is very strong and intimidating at the same time. I think that comes across well here, because his body and arms have a kinda bulky sense of volume to them and the solidness to his pose make it very easy to believe there's some imposing muscle underneath that childlike exterior.
I like the way you used lines to flesh him out. They to a lot to sell the solidity and strength of the character, but I just find the textures of the under-cap of the mushroom and the less dense texture that covers his body are visually interesting. It gives him a very organic feel.
